IELTS Teaching Stories From 2018: School’s Out

Dec 30, 2018 | IELTS, IELTS Coaching, IELTS Test

Welcome to the first ever edition of School’s Out where we take time out of IELTS teaching to update you on the latest events…

Where We've Been

For the first time in a long while, I took a break from teaching. In August, I left my computer at home and headed out to the steppes of Outer Mongolia.

A welcome break and I’m back fresher than ever!

IELTS Teaching News

This month two new associates have joined the team!

Yee Ling

Yee Ling - Proofreader

I’ve worked with Yee Ling before and can recommend her as a talented proofreader.

Many of our students go on to enter university after getting the IELTS score they need. Now we can continue to support you by proofreading your university essays.

Yee Ling says…

I specialise in proofreading both academic and non-academic nonfiction, particularly in the areas of Education and Language. This includes books, papers, dissertations, web content, and marketing materials. I have experience in proofreading theses in the humanities, on both Master and Doctorate levels, and am familiar with different styles of citation as well as adapting to specific house styles.

As a native speaker of English, I am able to address the language needs of both writer and intended audience, as I have decades of experience teaching English in different countries to first- and second-language learners of diverse competency levels and backgrounds.

With my background in editing, proofreading, and publishing language reference books for the international market, I am used to producing excellent work under tight deadlines. Do feel free to contact me about your particular project, even if it does not fit the usual framework of things.

When you need Yee Ling’s professional help or wish us to provide you with her terms and conditions, and rates – get in touch!
