School’s Out: IELTS and OET Teaching Stories From February 2025

Feb 28, 2025 | IELTS Test

February has been a month of transition and growth. With the move to our new office underway, we’ve been busy setting up an improved teaching environment while continuing to support students from around the world. Alongside this, we’ve kept up with the latest IELTS news, shared useful insights on our blog, and celebrated student success stories.

Here’s what’s been happening this month.

Where We’ve Been

This month, we officially moved into our new office.

The transition is still in progress, with a few loose ends to wrap up in our old space and plenty to set up in the new one. Over the coming months, this move will allow us to create fresh backdrops for lessons and introduce exciting new offerings.

More updates to come.

Website News

The February edition of our IELTS News Tracker covers both tightening and loosening migration requirements, depending on the country and whether you are a student or a professional worker. We also discuss the closure of a major official IELTS website. You can read more about it here.

Despite our busy schedule, we’ve continued publishing helpful content for IELTS test takers. This month, we added two new blog posts focusing on the General Training test, along with useful insights and recommendations shared on Twitter and LinkedIn.

Student Spotlight

This month, we’re highlighting Lucas, a doctor from Brazil who needed a high score to register with the GMC in the UK. He had strong speaking and listening skills but struggled with Writing Task 1.

After targeted coaching, Lucas quickly improved his ability to analyse data and structure his responses effectively. In his next test, he achieved the score he needed and is now preparing for the next step in his medical career in the UK.

His story is a great example of how focused practice and expert guidance can make all the difference.

When Can You Book an IELTS Lesson?

Our lessons run from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm London time.

With our online booking system, you can schedule lessons at a time that works for you. However, don’t wait too long—learning new skills takes time, and booking a few days before your exam isn’t ideal.

We’re also in high demand, and slots can fill up weeks in advance.

If you’d like to discuss how we can help, get in touch via our contact form or book a free demo lesson.

That’s all for February!
