January has been a month of travel, learning, and connecting with students from around the world. From snowy school visits to thought-provoking education events, we’ve gathered insights to help students and parents make informed decisions.
Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to this month…

Where We’ve Been
One highlight was our visit to Repton School, where we experienced a unique blend of history and innovation. Walking through its 11th-century architecture, while seeing how the school integrates cutting-edge digital tools for a globally connected education, was a reminder of how tradition and progress can work hand in hand. Repton’s commitment to academic excellence, creativity, and international inclusivity stood out, especially its thoughtful approach to welcoming students from around the world.
We also attended an event led by Sarah Capewell, which provided deep insights into Chinese education trends and market differentiation strategies. Beyond the presentations, the real value came from connecting with others in the field—sharing experiences, challenges, and ideas in a room full of passionate professionals. The perspectives from Joakim Paurell and Susan Fang were particularly thought-provoking, offering actionable strategies that will help shape our future approach.
Each of these experiences reinforced the importance of staying engaged with both schools and the wider education industry. Understanding how institutions evolve, how markets shift, and how different educational cultures interact helps us refine the way we support students and their families.
