School’s Out: IELTS and OET Teaching Stories From October 2020

Oct 31, 2020 | IELTS, IELTS News, IELTS Test

Much of the world may have slowed down, but we have been busy developing new products and helping medical professionals to use their skills in the country where they are currently living. Sometimes correcting one or two grammar problems can literally save lives!

IELTS Newsletter: Where We've Been

What We’ve Done

We’ve been under lockdown in October – but this hasn’t stopped us from travelling the world via Zoom.

In addition to our teaching, we have attended language and exam related conferences around the world.

We have also interviewed and hired new additions to our team as our business continues to grow!

Website News

This month we turned our attention back to IELTS General Writing Task 1. Many native and non-native speakers lose their marks with this task — and they don’t even know!

The first post is a model complaint letter in a formal format; the second is an informal letter inviting a friend to holiday with you

Ebooks

Next month will see the addition of two ebooks to our site. Both eBooks have appeared online before – and proved popular.

However, we have put our professional editing skills into play and made them even better!

Our eBooks page is empty at the moment – but keep your eyes open – new books will be appearing in November.

IELTS Newsletter: Why We Teach

Student Spotlight

This month our spotlight is highlighting the success of Chelcy from China…

Thanks to Andy

I am very pleased to meet Andy through the internet. I was very struggling with my writing after studying IELTS for months with different IETLS teachers. Andy is the best and he makes me understand my repeated mistakes and confusion. In particular, I like the way he explains the grammar rules, he makes it clear and easy to understand. If you have the same trouble like me in English grammar, Andy is the best for you. I highly recommended him. Thank you Andy!

IELTS Newsletter: When We Teach

When Can You Book An IELTS Lesson?

Our lessons are currently taking place from 9.00 am to 6.30 pm London time.

Using our online booking system, you can choose a time for our lessons that suits your busy schedule.

Please contact us early – don’t leave it too late. It takes time to master new skills and contacting us a few days before your exam is leaving it too late!

We are also in high demand – and our schedule can sometimes be filled weeks in advance.

If you would like to meet to discuss how we can help, contact us via our contact form or through our free demo lesson page.

That’s all for October!
