IELTS in the News

IELTS Test Results now Available in 1-2 Days

The IELTS partners have been working hard to improve the speed at which results are issued. 80% of results are now issued within 2 days and almost half within 1 day!

That is pretty good for a test marked by humans.

However, the speed at which you receive the results does depend on the type of test your take.

The fastest way to get your result is to take the computer version of the test…

Computer IELTS: results usually within 1-2 days

Paper IELTS: results within 13 days

IELTS Online (the at home test): results usually within 6-8 days

IELTS for UKVI Life Skills: results within 7 days

Australia

Australia has announced plans to welcome 185,000 permanent residents in 2025 under its Migration Program, focusing on skilled workers to fill labor market gaps, family reunification, and special eligibility cases.

The program aims to strengthen Australia’s economy by targeting skilled immigrants, especially in regional areas.

Potential immigrants can apply through the Skills, Family, or Special Eligibility streams. For more information on eligibility and application processes, consult an immigration expert or use an online points calculator to assess your qualifications.
