Covid has continued to fast-forward the digital revolution, and this month we have attended more events which have moved online.

Where We’ve Been

One event we attended this month is the OET Forum. The OET Forum takes place annually in London, Melbourne and Kochi. In 2020, OET held the event online for the first time and played host to an international audience of healthcare employers, recruiters and English language & communication specialists.

We have also been nominated for the 2020 Digital Enterprise Top 100. The Digital Enterprise 100 campaign profiles and celebrates 100 of Leeds City Region’s most innovative digital businesses.

Website News

We have welcomed a growing number of visitors to our website this month and added yet more pages.

This month we tasked our team of writers with producing more IELTS Writing Task 2 model essays.

The first is an essay about universal income and asks if it solves more problems than it creates.

The second is an essay about youth crime and asks who is responsible and what the solutions are.

We also added another edition to our Spotlight Vocabulary series. This is a series where we scour the internet for articles which contain high-level vocabulary and ideas you could use on test day.

Student Spotlight

Every month we shine the spotlight on one of our former students. This month it is the turn or Sebastian from Germany…

I Had Tried Other Teachers First

I am a German engineer with the opportunity to work in Australia. For the immigration, I need a good IELTS score and took part in other classes without success. After a number of lessons with Andy, I took the test again and got the needed score. – THX

He is a great teacher and shows you precisely what you are doing wrong. All lessons were a lot of fun to me and can recommend him to everyone who wants to work on their mistakes to get their dream result.

Sebastian, Germany
