Dear Sam,

I hope you have been keeping well. The pandemic certainly brought challenges, and I am pleased they are now in the rearview mirror!

The majority of last year was spent in lockdown – and I live on the twentieth floor of an apartment block with no access to a garden or even any greenery. Now that we finally have an effective vaccine, my feet are itching to travel again – and where better than the wide-open steppes of Mongolia!

I have been in touch with a Mongolian tour agency and negotiated a two-week tour which includes seeing the last truly wild horse species; a visit to snow leopard territory; and a visit to see a nomadic family on the edge of the Gobi.

The tour is far more cost-effective when travelling as a group of five – and I would like to invite yourself and Claire to join my family. I know that visiting Mongolia is something on your bucket list too!

What do you think!

All the best,

Andy
