This has been another busy month!
Where We’ve Been
Our Writing Task 2 book is with the publisher, and we expect it to be released in April.
We started a new webinar series on March 25th. There were over a hundred registrants and good participation from those who attended live.
We have worked from several locations over the month and have been pleased to celebrate some significant success stories with our students!
Website News
This month we published a model formal Task 1 letter in which someone is applying for a temporary job. This kind of letter is the one that loses General IELTS test candidates a lot of marks — so we highly recommend checking it out.
We also offered our opinion in a Task 2 essay about whether good food and exercise are really necessary to live a long and healthy life.
In our IELTS News tracker, we updated you on important developments with the IELTS test. We also advised on the latest potential for immigration and travel to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK.
Finally, our Spotlight Vocabulary series curated articles ranging from the modern workplace to cryptic animals — all topics that appear in the Speaking test.
Where Our Students Come From
This month we have met with students from or based in the following countries…
Doha, Qatar; Cairo, Egypt; Taipei, Taiwan; Hong Kong; Beijing, China, Singapore; Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia; Jakarta, Indonesia; Saigon, Vietnam; Toronto, Canada; Sofia, Bulgaria; Rome, Italy; Kazakhstan; Abuja, Nigeria
Student Spotlight
This month we shine the spotlight on Francesca, who used our Writing Correction service…
Hello, I am deeply thankful to Andy for his help. I needed to score 6.5 for writing in IELTS academic. I tried the IELTS exam three times before meeting Andy, and my score in writing was always between 5.5 and 6.0. With only six writing corrections, he helped me to score 6.5 in writing. I was short on time, and he has been 100% available for me. My score increased by half a band in less than two weeks with Andy’s help. I highly recommend him for a high score. His advice is fundamental!
