New Logo

It’s finally arrived, and we love it!

English With an Expert Yellow Logo by Andrew Turner @ English With an Expert

The two speaking punctuation marks sum up what we do. We teach you how to speak better, and we help you to write, read and listen at a higher level as well.

We have started to roll out the new logo around our site and elsewhere.

Scholar’s Progress Podcast

We have helped many students get the IELTS score they need and wondered what was happening with them.

So, we’ve started a new podcast called Scholar’s Progress to find out.

This month we caught up with Sean, a student from Taiwan. Sean achieved high scores in several exams we helped him with, including a Band 8.0 in IELTS. As a result, he was offered a place at several top universities.

Click here to find out which one he chose, what life is like for him now, and his top tips for those following in his footsteps!

With an Expert Podcast

Next week we will launch a new podcast series that introduces you to experts that can help you achieve your language, job, and emigration related goals.

In our first edition, you will meet Tamara – a pronunciation expert.

Website News

There is a lot of bad advice about templates online. Many test candidates lose marks with sentences like this: In this essay, we will discuss both points in detail, followed by what I think personally.

To help you, we have published our best IELTS Writing templates. We also published a model General Task 1 letter so that you can see how to use the templates.

In the coming months, we will publish more model essays as well as publish additional IELTS Writing video courses.

October also saw the eighth edition of Spotlight Vocabulary. This series introduces you to top-quality articles which will improve your vocabulary and give you ideas you can use in the test.
